Catfish Grill in Wichita Falls

I am a waitress there. Love our staff and return of WRE (the cook). Food is GORGEOUS. TASTY AND I AM PROUD TO SERVE ANYTHING ON OUR MENU.

The food was great, but the beans! Holy cow the Beans were great!

This place is always good and we love our long time waitress!

I had the grilled catfish and it was wonderful. Moist tasty and enough to fill you up.

Blue cheese jalapeño burger is bomb. Best Patty melt too! Friendly staff, can't wait to come back for the catfish

LOOOOOOOVVVVE this place!!! It's so good and tasty. The prices are fair. The staff are incredibly kind and checkup on you frequently. Definitely a gem in Wichita Falls.

This was my first visit to Catfish Grill. The atmosphere was very nice and clean, with good music in the background. It wasn't so loud that you couldn't visit with others at our table. Our server, Cindy , was wonderful... Very attentive, friendly and professional. I had a couple of substitutions and she and the cook rolled with it with no problem.I had some grilled and fried catfish with fried okra and sweet potato fries. Every bite was perfectly delicious! I won't hesitate to come back. They have take-out delivery also.

This is the best catfish I have tasted and I order catfish a lot from different restaurants. First time I have ate here with my boyfriend, we ordered the catfish and shrimp, and we both loved it so much we came the second time to bring our friends along. So all of us now loved their food and will be returning again!

No disrespect intended, but never ever again... waitress was nice but food extremely terrible. No seasoning. Catfish tasted like cardboard. Hell everyone is different as well as taste buds...but for me, I'll pass....

Not impressed....especially for $16. No beans until after I got my meal. I know the cooks were busy but my grill fish look like it has been sitting for quite some time. If you are going to serve water and you can't get it any better tasting than what you had then buy some bottled water at Walmart and serve it. The water at my house out of the tap doesn't taste anything like that.

Elana was awesome, fast and efficient. You could tell they are keeping up with covid19 requirements.

This is a fully allowed review from a wife who’s husband also reviewed this place since we both have separate minds and opinions. The service was good, the one waitress working had to serve all the tables here and had a good attitude and on top of the orders. The food was bland, and grilled chicken was very dry and tough. Food would not have brought me back there. Maybe the nice service but the owner leaves rude responses to any negative reviews instead of looking for ways to improve. And usually the novel long reviews get more noticed due to more information on the place.

Had eaten here before and really enjoyed the food, but Fiday night never even had the opportunity to order. As my son works at a restaurant he said let's give them at least 15 min. Waitress walked by us multiple times without even acknowledging our presence. A couple entered through a back door about 8 min. after us and were greeted and visited with. After 15 min. we finally gave up and left. We then understood why a couple got up and left as we were seating ourselves.Definitely not a positive experience. Had been looking forward to enjoying their catfish once again.

Any kitchen that can turn out a great bowl of pinto beans, is a staple. If that bowl of beans is free, then the place becomes an institution. Come for the beans, become a regular for the catfish, fried or grilled, your choice.

This place was good. Arrived just after they opened and really enjoyed the spacious dining room. The decor was pleasing and the decorative lighting made it feel relaxing. The menu had a decent array of options that fit almost any diet (and budget). I especially took notice of the all day breakfast option. I ordered the catfish (since it's in the title) and my wife got the popcorn shrimp. Both dishes were very good and the catfish was cooked perfectly! Overall, great experience. I gave four stars because the water tasted disgusting, which caused the tea to taste "dirty" as well. Our server also kept pushing us to try the free beans that were available near the salad bar ... Weird.

Really good catfish!! It helps fill that catfish craving when you can't drive over to Bill's Catfish (still the best). Also, the complimentary red beans are always yummy! I keep going back here!!

I have ate here since it opened years ago and the service is prompt and food is ever so good!! Last time I was in I had a burger, it was so awesome and I took catfish home with me for a late night snack which hit the spot!!! Call in orders are ready when you pick them up!! Make sure you leave a good tip because the friendly waitstaff is above excellent !! Awesome place all the way around!!

Bill's is the best we're going to start going every Friday

We had an excellent waitress who made sure we were well taken care of. Her recommendations proved to be a very good choice. I have never had grilled catfish before but tried it based upon her recommendation. I was very glad that I did. One thing my fiancèe did notice was that if you eat the cocktail sauce it definitely has horseradish in it. We will certainly be returning and would recommend it to any of our friends.

I've seen the Catfish Grill from the street and it is only this time I tried it out. It feels like a joint in the best meaning of the word because there is a warmth to the restaurant including the decor. The fish is generally fried which might be my thing but it was cooked well and good. The menu stays in it's lane with burgers, fish and sandwiches which all looked inviting. Service was very friendly and appreciative.

The free beans are awesome! I've never had a meal here that wasn't absolutley delicious. Tons of food at a great price and always cooked to perfection. Plus, they have so much more than fish, what a great selection!

Service was great, very bubbly and happy. The floors were as sticky as fly paper, the tables were so dirty we could write our names in the film. The food was the worst in town. The fish was burnt and paper thin. The hush puppies were half cooked. The shrimp was basically batter with a tail, no meat at all. The best thing was the ocra, but I wasn't going to spend $40 on a meal of just ocra. Its a shame, really. Our waitress was an absolute doll and the restaurant looked like it could have been a great place.

This place had a plethra of food. The chips and salsa were very flavorful. And the service was down home excellent. Will be returning very soon

It is August 19th 2019 and we were looking for catfish. We drove by it many times but had never been there. It was really good. Ryan had southern fried catfish, Ken had grilled catfish and I had shrimp. Good service, great food.we will go back.We went out to eat because it is our 53rd anniversary.

We were traveling through Wichita Falls and decided we'd like some good catfish. It was a little better than okay but it was a little less than great. The fries were good. Is a little high based on quantity.

Easily the best fried fish in town served with a few lemon slices and a side of fried okra. Love it!

Food is good. Could do better with the service. But overall it's a good place to eat at.
